The Annual DEMA (Dive Equipment & Marketing Association) is being held in Orlando, Florida November 2-5. California Diver Magazine will be attending and sharing the highlights of the show with daily updates shared with subscribers, Facebook fans, and website visitors.

The DEMA Show is the only international trade-only event for the diving, action water sports and travel industries, and is attended by thousands of dive professionals and hundreds of dive gear manufacturers, dive travel agencies, dive resorts, training agencies, and other related businesses and organizations. The show is being held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, and alternates between the east and west coasts each year.

The main exhibit hall hosts 650 industry suppliers, manufacturers, and destinations, showcasing their products and services. Exhibitors include diving, snorkeling and ocean sport gear, Underwater communications equipment, underwater vehicles, Air station equipment, cylinders and valves, dive and ocean sports apparel and swimwear, paddle sports equipment,  equipment, suncare products, boats and marine products, dive and adventure travel destinations, dive training and instructional materials, airlines and charter services, underwater photography and videography, and more.

There are also 30 high-level seminars geared specifically towards dive retailers, conducted by top business experts from across the country, and 300 training and technical sessions offered by exhibitors from all over the world.

At DEMA, dozens of equipment manufacturers will be announcing new gear coming available in 2012, and at least 25 new products for 2012 are being displayed and marketed to attendees. Many of these new products will be highlighted in the January/February issue of California Diver Magazine.
