Based on feedback from divers all over the world Paralenz has announced the company has upgraded their underwater camera to a new PLUS version.

Cooperating with the diver community
The Danish based company Paralenz has a very dedicated community of divers, which is evident from the numerous videos on the Facebook page Paralenz world.

The feedback and requests Paralenz receive comes from regular divers all over the world and form the basis for every improvement they make, whether it is deciding to add a camera feature, change the packaging, or develop a new accessory, Paralenz´ product development is guided by its users.

Built like a cannonball
To give the divers what they ask for the whole exterior of the camera has now been upgraded to make it even more rugged.

The end cap is CNC milled from a single block of extremely strong aerospace grade aluminum, the same material is used for the rest of the housing increasing the depth rating to a staggering 250m/820ft. Every part also receives an even more corrosion resistant surface and the screws are changed to titanium.
The design of the selector ring has been improved to make it simpler and exclude any small parts.

What’s new?

  • Increased depth rating of 250m / 820 ft.
  • All aluminum used has been upgraded to Aerospace-grade.
  • Screws are now made of Titanium.
  • New end-cap is CNC milled from aluminum with a scratch resistant glass window.
  • Better anodizing of all parts for a more scratch resistant surface.
  • Improved “screw-less” selector ring.
