The 2024-2025 recreational California spiny lobster season ended March 19. Please remember Spiny Lobster Report Cards are required to be returned no later than April 30.
You can report your harvest online here: https://wildlife.ca.gov/Licensing/Fishing#reporting or via the CDFW License App starting March 20th. Alternatively, you can mail your lobster report card to CDFW’s San Diego office at 3883 Ruffin Road, San Diego, CA 92123.
If your card is not reported or reported late, you will be required to pay a non-return fee when you purchase your card for the following season. You can avoid the non-return fee by returning lobster report cards by the due date, or by sitting out one lobster fishing season.
