OCEAN REEF has announced the release of the Neptune III ID250, a limited-edition version of its Neptune III full-face diving mask. The mask was created to mark the upcoming 250th anniversary of the independence of the United States and combines commemorative design elements with the company’s existing full-face mask technology.

The ID250 features artwork and symbols tied to American history and exploration, including references to the Golden Eagle, the Transcontinental Railroad, the American West, Mount Rushmore, and space exploration. According to OCEAN REEF, the design was intended to reflect themes of exploration, innovation, and independence.

The mask is built on the company’s Neptune III platform and includes several of the features found in its current full-face systems, including:

  • An integrated second-stage regulator
  • A wide field-of-view visor with impact certification
  • An internal air circulation system designed to reduce fogging and CO2 buildup
  • A 3D equalization system for nose access and pressure equalization
  • A bellows-style face seal intended to improve comfort during long dives

Production of the Neptune III ID250 will be limited to 250 units worldwide, with each mask individually serialized.

To coincide with the launch, OCEAN REEF plans to host a July 4 event at Nemo’s Garden, the underwater greenhouse installation located off the coast of Noli. Divers using the ID250 masks are expected to participate in an underwater lighting ceremony at the site.

The Neptune III ID250 is scheduled for global release on June 15. Additional information and technical specifications are available on OCEAN REEF’s official ID250 page.
