The Underwater Photography Guide’s Ocean Art underwater photography contest has just announced their fall contest, featuring prizes exceeding $40,000 in value from some of the world’s top liveaboard, resort, and photo gear sponsors.

The 2020 contest features many categories designed to ensure that photographers find the right category for each of their images, no matter how unique. Ocean Art 2020 uses 12 categories total from Blackwater to Conservation to Nudibranchs and more. To ensure that every camera type and level of photographer is represented, some categories are further split between an open category and a compact camera category.

Categories include Wide Angle, Macro, Marine Life Behavior, Portrait, Cold Water, Nudibranchs, Blackwater, Underwater Conservation, Compact Wide Angle, Compact Macro, Compact Behavior, and Underwater Art.

This is a virtual contest – simply upload underwater photos taken anywhere, anytime. Registration & Entries are accepted through November 30th, 2020. Winners will be announced early to mid January, 2021.

There is an entry fee is $10 USD per photo, and entrants may also enter 10 and get the 11th free. Competition details can be read here.
